The Manchester Skull Base Surgery Course takes place at the Manchester Surgical Skills and Simulation Centre, located within the University of Manchester Medical School on Oxford Road. The centre provides a specialist environment for practical cadaveric surgical education and is ideally suited to the detailed anatomical dissection required for skull base surgery training.
The laboratory contains 13 fully equipped surgical training stations, allowing delegates to work directly with fresh frozen cadaveric specimens while receiving guidance and supervision from the course faculty.
The combination of specialist facilities, surgical equipment and a deliberately limited number of dissection stations provides an environment designed for focused, hands-on learning.
